During my time at the University of St Andrews, for the Film Studies half of my degree I twice had the opportunity to stray from a conventional essay structure and instead make Zines for my assessments. I greatly valued the chance to visually express my chosen subject matter and pay homage to the cultural and historical roots of Zine making for film communities and beyond.
